Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 lite is acting very weird

Whenever I turn off my tablet, a screen will appear and causes my tablet to charge very slow and also causing it to overheat. The first time I saw this happening was two days ago. My tablet does this every time I turn it off. I need some help because this has never happened to my tablet and I have had it fr a while
