Can the Screw Extractor Set be used on the midwall of MacBook?

I am using the MacBook Unibody Model A1278 Trackpad Replacement Guide to replace a trackpad that is not clicking. When I got to "Step 6 Mid-wall," I removed 3 of the four 10.3mm Phillips screws (#00) which secure the mid-wall to the upper case. However, I have stripped the left-most screw. It has a recessed head and fits in a recess in the mid-wall.

Is the Precision Screw Extractor Set (iFixit.com Part IF145-118-1) likely to remove this last screw? Or is there a different and/or better removal method?
