My auto-rotate doesn't work
It won't change axis and this makes the screen small for videos. how can I fixit?

If you go in your settings to accessibility, if will give you the choice to turn on your auto-rotate. If it is already on, then just do what I do: Whenever I want to change the rotation to landscape, I just go in Netflix and click on something to watch and it will automatically turn. Then just close Netflix and there you go. When you want portrait again, simply go on an app that only has portrait.

Try the free app "Check My Android". It is designed to test the hardware. I used it to test my Nexus 7, which would no longer rotate. Now, whenever it is stuck in the horizontal position and I need to rotate I open this app and it immediately puts it into the vertical position, where it stays. When it is stuck in the vertical position and I want to force it to the horizontal, I open an app that wants to be used in the horizontal position. In my case, it is the free app Perfect Piano which forces the device to horizontal and it stays that way until I need to rotate it again. Crazy workaround, but all else has failed for me.

Thanks for the fix. Works like a charm.
You may try a fix found on youtube. Search "nexus 7 autorotate repair"

Hi qraziest. May I ask what version of Android your Nexus 7 is currently running? Is this a stock ROM or a custom ROM?
