RCA 5 speaker system will not turn on

So I have had this device for over a year now. It was working till about 2 weeks ago when I went a way on a week long trip, after I got back the device was still working but since it had been on a week i thought to turn it off and give the poor guy a break form not doing much at all. I attempted to turn on the device the next day and was unable to. The red power button - which means that power is flowing through the device is not on. The fan in the back tries to spin up, but get stuck. Any Ideas?

The device is an RCA 5 speaker system Model # RTB10223
