Hey Guys!
I dropped a MBP A1297 17" on a soft floor then got no backlight, replaced the screen, motherboard and the screen cable but nothing changed.
I still can see image on the screen, it works on external monitor. any suggestions guys

I don't know if it's your case but u have to be very specifically when u order a new screen because sometimes the same model have different screens u should look into your old screen number part and see if it's the same as the new one.

I actually asked the seller before i bought the screen and they said its compatible with the model.

Same here, I just installed the new screen and no go. Anyone have any ideas what could be going on?

Did you check to see if you have power on the backlight fuse?
