Second generation of Wi-Fi iPad, released on March 11, 2011. Model number A1395. Repair is difficult and will require heat.

I have 5 or 5 iPad 2s in my shop right now with wifi issues. After replacing the wifi antenna, the iPads will not detect any wifi networks.

I've torn them down and made sure everything was connected properly but I'm not seeing anything.

We have had this recently on 20 of them, turns out we had a batch of faulty wifi antennas :(
