Error when attempting to copy or scan with Pinnacle Pro901

When I try to copy or scan the light bar does not move. Upon closer inspection the belt appears to be disconnected, a pulley is loose, and there is a spring just laying in the glass enclosed casing where the light bar runs. I think I can open the casing but I don't have any idea how the pulley, spring, and belt go back into place. A copy of the service manual, or the pages related to this issue, would be great. Any advice from others who may know how to fix this would help also.

Lexmark will not cover this because it was purchased, new in the box, from eBay so I can't get any help from them.
