Can you fix/reattach a logic board battery socket?
while disconnecting the battery the battery socket came off with the battery. Can this be reattached / fixed?

yes. some can do it DIY with great soldering skills. I would recommend sending it out for repair---very straightforward to fix. You are welcome to click to my iFixit Pro profile iPad Rehab on the left if you need a professional.
