How do I fix the charger part of the iPod?
Can you fix the part of the ipod where the USB caple plugs in. Some of the "teeth" are broken

ryan faircloth, not an easy job. as you already know,you will have to replace it in order to get your iPod back to normal function. It is an interesting job to say the least. You have to remove the logic board and then desolder the connector. The dock connectors are available at multiple places like this Then you have to resolder the new one. here is a video that shows you how to do it. Good Luck.
