Nomi Windhorn, all you have to do is open the control box, unsolder the broken wire. Then cut the wire that is broken above the control box, strip it and solder it to the control box. Hope this helps, good luck.
To open the control box
turn it over
remove the three screws and remove the cover
now you have access to the cable. Unsolder the old one and resolder the new cable. check the color code for the cable
