Why is my CPU throttling at 100%?
Good day everyone, These are my specs and then I will ask my question,
CPU : i7 4790 @ 3.6ghz
CPU Cooler : Cooler master TPC 812
Motherboard : MSI Gaming 7 z97
Graphics card : MSI GTX 780
Power supply : V700
So this is my issue, my CPU will not go any higher than 800mhz for some reason, I have stressed the system using OCCT and my temps only went up to 29°c.
When I open Intel Extreme Tuning Utilities, the program says that my cpu is currently at .8ghz, and 100% throttling.
Please help, its really affecting my system performance,

Jody can you tell us the make & model of your system or is this one you built your self. If you built it please tell us the make and model of your logic board.

Help us help you. The more complete the description of your problem is (what logic board you're using - there are many versions, How much RAM, and what speed, what OS you're using -there's a lot of those too, what Application you're using there are many of them also, a full compete description, the text or screen shot of any error messages) the more assistance we can provide, and, the sooner we can provide it..
