Someone has asked me to fix their iPhone 5C saying the charging port doesn't work. Before the iPhone 5 came out I fixed iPhones all the time for friends, but I've always had a hard time finding parts for the 5. I'm wondering if the 5C uses the same flex cable for the dock connector as the 5S or the 5? All I can find is this:

looks like those parts are interchangeable on the 5C/5S.
However looking at the part numbers, they do appear to be different:

For $7, I'd buy the 5c one just to be sure.

Josh they arnt interchangeable.. Jut buy the partfor the correct iphone this way you will have no problems..
For starters iphone 5s has the touch is connector on the lighting port
iPhone 5c as just prongs for the home button to connect..
