Wife dropped phone in pool. Got it out quick and all buttons and ports seem to work fine. Except the touch screen isn't working so can't get out of lock screen. Any advice out there?

Phone needs opened and cleaned out especially with chlorine water..
Do not try and dry it or use rice this will speed the corrosion process..
Motherboard needs cleaned with ISO alcohol then you can dry.
Reassemble and check for damage if touch is still not working the water has damaged the screen .

cleaned motherboard with ISO alcohol and then dry it and put it back so screen is working but touch screen is not working and after that i change the lcd and put a new on but that screen is working and touch screen is not working.i also tried that screen on different phone and its working good.
Ah ok then it's a motherboard problem see if any off the pins are missing on the connecter were the digitizer plugs in
I have the same exact problem, everything else works but the touchscreen and the home button. I have 2 phones that I have been trying to fix with no luck! Can some one please please give me a clear picture of how to "Fix the touch id finger print scanner to work"?
