So I just replaced my power button flex cable (with this) in my iPhone 4s since the button wasn't working, and now it is working fine but now the microphone isn't working in a phone call, voice memos or shazam. However I can facetime or record a video with audio with no problem. What did I damage while fixing my phone?

You may need to replace the dock assembly (as this is where the bottom microphone lives), as described here: Sostituzione connettore dock iPhone 4S
