yanked connector caused display to go dark

I was almost out of the woods….my repair almost completed. I'd put everything back together…almost, and all seemed well.

I was about to button it all back up when I noticed that the top edge of the screen, up by the earpiece wasn't as flush as the rest of the screen. However, AT THIS POINT, everything was working just fine.

In carefully opening it up again, I must have yanked something off…but I can't figure out what. I have no signal to the display. Zip.

I've since gone in and double check all of the connectors that hide under the small metal plate…the ones that go to the screen assembly. They're all fine…fully seated in their respective connectors, with the metal plate holding them firmly in place.

I've also double-checked the harnesses going to the display, and they appear fine as well. I even made sure that the earpiece assembly was ok…and it is. I removed the two screws, the metal plate with the square cut-out, and then put it all back….no problem…nothing out of place. Hmmm...

At this point, the screen still won't light up, but the phone still works. When I hold the front button down, Siri beeps at me…but no signal to the screen. It's black…as if the phone is powered off.

Any thoughts. I'm thinking it's a loose connector on the back of the screen, but nothing appears to be loose or out of kilter or ripped.
