Steve Holland, Here is a decent teardown video. Once you have it disassembled, check for corrosion, burned or charred, as well as missing components. Clean every part with 90%+ isopropyl alcohol. do not forget all cable ends and connectors. Replace the battery then re-evaluate. Hope this helps, good luck.
