MacBook reboots after waking from sleep mode
MacBook Core 2 Duo; 1.83 MHz; 2.256GB RAM; OS 10.6.3
Problem:
MacBook goes into restart after going into sleep mode. It does not appear to be an operating system problem since the problem occurs when started from an external disk and independent OS. PRAM and SMC resets have not helped. Operating from battery or power adapter results in same behavior. No other problems are apparent during operations.

I think it might be a combination of problems but for the moment it is working. I switched out the RAM and put two 512MB sticks in. I also installed a different battery and HD with a different OS. It appears to be working without the sleep problem. The other MacBook from which I obtained parts works fine with the parts from the first MacBook. The only thing I did differently is not add the second 256MB stick to the donor Mac. It only got the 2GB stick from the original problem Mac.
