Volume/lockbutton ribbon cable replaced Buttons don't work vibrate doe

I installed a new ribbon cable with powers the Vibrator, lock button, silent switch, and volume buttons. I have been doing this for a long time but never done a 5s. I put the new cable in and started the phone up by plugging the phone in. The volume buttons don't work or lock button or switch but the vibrator still works. Any ideas? i lost the small bracket that goes by the camera area of the phone do you think that had a connection on it that it needs to complete the ribbon cable??? Help please thanks!!!
