Why does my HP Photosmart Premium C310a have no power?

My printer suddenly has no power. It was working earlier today and was not turned off, it just lost power and won't turn on anymore. I have checked all cords are connected and have changed to a different power point. Having gone through the troubleshooter on HP it has an internal power source. Should I try buying a new power cable before taking it for repair? And where can I find a repairer I can drop printer into in Brisbane please? All the repairers I can find do home visits and charge huge call out fees. Thanks!
