White Screens after Battery Replacement

I ordered the battery replacement kit followed the instructions to a T and I ran into a screen issue. At first I had small white rectangles at the very top of the screen. I tried power cycling, disconnected and reconnected and the problem still persists.

After reconnecting however the lines have changed size and are now full length of the screen from top to bottom. I have tried connected over and over but I have yet to find a solution.

Someone please offer some insight.

No... it works... we are fixing iphone 5 everyday and have the white stripes every time. And they disappear after a few hours using the LCD...

I ended up restoring my phone to get rid of the lines completely. Everything appears to be working find now!

Hi,

close the iphone and let the lcd running for a few hours. The white rectangles will disappear within a day

You can also try cleaning the contacts, and make sure then are seated into the logic board.
