My iPod keeps stopping the music and like when i press play it plays and stops after 5+ seconds and when i press play agian it plays for 5 seconds and stops. An thoughts???

your digitizer ribbon may be damaged and if it is then the digitizer is thinking you press in the exact same spot twice in a row so it stops automatically, i suggest you open you ipod touch and see if the ribbon is damaged, if you dont know which one it is its the one and the top right
