It does´t start apple never go away

Help there,

I have a problem with to iMacs the problem is that two of them are not starting the IOS, all they do is apple logo and it seems to start but they never do.

I have replaced hard drivers, I tried to load the IOS again and it is the same problem.

This morning I tried cmd + v, and no I can see that something is wrong with the BOOTCACHECONTROL. because it shows this massage

BootCacheControl: Unable to open /var/db/BootCache.playlist: 2 No such file or directory.

Does anyone know how to fix this ?

Thanks !

What OS are you installing here? iOS is for the iPhone & iPad devices not the iMac. OS-X is what you need here.

The lowest version of OS-X you can install on this system from CD or DVD is Snow Leopard.

Lion, Mountain Lion & Mavericks you need to download from the Apple store or have a USB drive with it. In any case you'll need a bootable OS-X disk of some kind to boot up to then install Lion or Mountain Lion or Mavericks.

If you had Lion, Mountain Lion & Mavericks installed you do have a recovery partition which you can recover your damaged OS from.

Tell us what OS-X you are trying to install here and how.

Hello there, I had Lion installed, and I tried to installed Mountain Lion and the problem is the same. So I tried to installed the IOS in another computer and then put the hard drive back and is the same all I can see is the apple logo and one circle trying to load but it never happen.

So yesterday I read something about CMD+V so I was gonna be able to see where the computer stuck and it says :

BootCacheControl: Unable to open /var/db/BootCache.playlist: 2 No such file or directory.

I also thought is was the hard drive so I bought another one and nothing !

You keep talking about iOS why? You can't use it on a iMac in any way, Macs us OS-X.

I think you'll need to completely wipe down your drive and re-install. But you need to have a bootable OS-X disk.
