You've provided a very generic ID for your computer. You should remove the battery there's danger of a fire! On the model illustrated you should be able to unlatch it. On other models you have to open the laptop with special screw drivers. Those tools can be found at many hardware or electrical stores.
Do Not DELAY. Take precautions to keep the laptop away from flammable materials.
