Best Adhesive To Use

Hi everyone, quick question.

I often find the adhesive tape that comes with the iPods and iPads not strong enough to hold it down completely flush.

Is there a better/stronger adhesive or method than the provided 3M tape? I even add a little regular doublesided tape.
