iMac a1311 ECM 2308
After power serge has black screen. When you plug iPod touch into USB drive it charges it. Will take a cd but will not eject it. Not sure what to do from here

Try connecting an external display to your system as it sounds like you lost the display.
You could also try using a flashlight at an angle against the display to see if you can see your desktop icons. If you do they only the backlight is gone.
