iPhone won't turn on, gets hot when charging through usb?
So after a phone call the screen on my iphone went black. I could still hear the sounds and received text messages, but could see nothing (unless it was dark). I tried the home + power button procedure, but never got the apple logo to come up. The last thing I did, while it still functioned, was hold the home button for 5 seconds (while usb was connected to computer) and connect it to power source. The voice command came up, and I told it to play music. I let it die, and it has not turned on since. I have tried the reset procedures, to no avail. The phone just gets hot when I plug it into the usb. please help! Thank You!
Questa è una buona domanda?
"The phone just gets hot when I plug it into the usb." should be unrelated to the actual LCD. Check your battery as well as the grounds. Make sure that any screw you may have removed is back in its proper position. The iPhone does not get hot based on a broken LCD. Check your logic board for any lose or broken component.

I did not remove anything, it just happened.

gilberto, that is good. In that case it should not be a grounding issue that causes it. All the more reason to suspect your battery.
