HTC Desire S LCD Dim after digitizer repair

Recently my Screen got cracked but mobile navigation was working fine.

After some research, i found one digitizer on ebay and got it replaced by local mobile repairer.

Navigation is still fine but my LCD is dim now and flickering a bit. That guy did check all the connection twice but problem still remains. He said it will get brighter after couple of days.

I noticed it got brighter but by 10% only and still it is dim and flickering.

Also i noticed that digitzier and lcd is still not glued perfectly, is this the reason?

Can somebody please help.

HTC Spare parts are worthless, I'm afraid.

For example; I've changed the digitizer/LCD of a HTC One X with 5 different spare parts, all were faulty in some way (dead zones on digitizer, flickering LCD, "wierd" digitizer, etc.).

Changing back to the original and everything worked fine.

It's the spare part, I'm sorry.

Original is too costly. HTC guys says that they will replace lcd+digitizer both and it is costing me 60% of current price of new same model :(

Digitizer and lcd are not gelled properly, i can see inside lights on the edges in dark.
