new glass & lcd, white screen

i got an iPhone 3GS from a friend and it was cracked

so i ordered a new piece and after i got it, turned it on and this white screen greeted me. i was jailbroken before, and worked great, apart from the cracked glass.

i have tried restoring and nothing happened.
