Why my volyme lowering button got exta sensitive?

My volume lowering key works even when it is touched (without getting pressed) and the volume lowers down or cell gets on vibration mofe. :( please help

Is it possible that the volume button has gotten partially jammed into the socket and caused it to go extra sensitive, I have had this problem before.
