iPhone 3GS antenna orientation

Hi. Could someone please tell me which way round I need to install the 3gs (connector 7) antenna socket. Does the center pin flow towards the inductors or to the outside of the motherboard?

Jaywn, I suppose you are looking into replacing the actual connector. That would be J4_RF, a Murata MM4829_2700 connector. The datasheet for the connector is available right here. This will show you the hot and ground terminals. Then connect it according to the schematic, "Center pin" toward the inductor. Hope this helps, good luck.
