My MacBookPro can't recognize my SSD

I own a MacBookPro 13" Unibody Early 2011 and I have a problem.

I don't really use the ODD so I got rid of my odd and bought SecondBay for additional storage.

I installed the original HDD at the place where ODD was and installed Samsung SSD 830 128gb at the place where HDD was originally installed.

But the problem is that the SSD is not recognized by my MacBookPro!!!

when I connected my SSD externally with SATA to USB cable for check up it worked fine.

And My SATA cable also seems fine regarding that it recognizes other HDDs that I own pretty fine.

But when I set my SSD in my MBP internally DiskUtility just wont recognize it.

I just don't know what to do with it.

as far as I know it should work fine and I've seen some others install same types of SSD in MacBookPro.

What is the problem? and how can I fix it???

Please help me out with this....

It may be that the new SSD is set for a faster transfer speed than your internal BUS can recognize. See if it can be jumpered down. Your machine, if it is the 2011, listed, should be able to see 6 Gb/s.

Can I jumper down my SSD? I don't see any jumper port on my SSD...

The thing that bothers me is that My MacBookPro should be able to see 6Gb/s... What a shame...Is there any other possible cause for this problem?

Try switching the drives.

Also install just the SSD in the hard drive slot and vise versa. The optical bay may not be able to see 6 Gb/s

Plus I just checked my SATA version of my MacBook and it said it's transfer rate is 6Gb/s and of course it does not recognize my SSD.

My optical bay can see up to 3Gb/s and hard drive slot can see up to 6Gb/s....

Guess I'll have to try swithing there places... such a hard work.. oTL
