I had a iMac that crashed at 1 point 2 years ago, I installed SL on it last year, it worked great, but when I upgraded to lion in april i noticed it was a little slow.
Any way i could speed it up?

A couple possibilites. Increasing the RAM would potentially improve performance. You could also clear the cache files. They can be accessed by clicking on Go in the finder bar and holding the option key. Path is Go>Library>Cache. Delete everything in the folder but, not the folder itself. There is also a system level cache accessed from Mac HD>Library>Cache. Same process. Couldn't hurt to run the Disk Utility to verify the hard drive as well. Please note that there is very little information in your post so it is difficult to troubleshoot. I hope this is helpful.

Oh, and the ram is 2gb and the hd is 250gb
