SD card is not reading on Nikon CoolPix S51

The following is a list of approved memory cards for the Coolpix S51 digital still camera. These cards have been tested and approved for use with the Coolpix S51.

The S51 uses SD (Secure Digital) memory.

SanDisk

• 128 M B, 256MB, 512MB, 1GB, 2GB 1, 4GB 1,2
• High Speed , 10MB/s cards: 512MB, 1GB, 2GB 1
• High Speed , 20MB/s cards: 1GB, 2GB 1

Toshiba

• 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, 1 GB, 2GB 1, 4GB 1,2
• High Speed, 10 MB/s cards: 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, 1GB

Panasonic

• 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, 1GB, 2GB 1, 4GB 1,2
• High Speed 10 MB/s cards: 256MB
• High Speed 20 MB/s cards: 512MB, 1GB, 2GB 1

1 If the memory card will be used with a card reader or similar device, the device must support memory card specifications. If the device does not support memory card specifications, insert the memory card into the camera and connect the camera to a computer via the supplied USB cable totransfer images.
