They camara on my kinect isn't reading us to play

When we turn on the kinect to play the screen doesn't read us, and the screen has 2 white lines through where it shows the image of the person your suppose to stand in front of to have it read you, but it doesn't work is there away to fix it?

upgrade your firmware on xbox with all acessories disconnected, pull hdd away , than test it - and let us know ;)

Are you playing in a small room? There is a small environment setting in initial setup. run it again and listen or read closely.
