Hello,
I wanted to replace my iPhone 4 Power & Lock Button. In your guide, (iPhone 4 Power & Lock Button Replacement), I am stuck on step 5 because the black connector on the logic board seems to be glued to the silver battery connector I am supposed to remove!
How do I separate the two without causing damage?

You must remove the screw in the connector top first. Then the silver top has a small tab you can carefully lift up on, the iFixit picture has them trying from the opposite side, and some even lift up at the screw hole end. The solder joints and underlying pad of the black plastic logic board tray are very fragile. Be very careful, if any of these joints or pads are broken you risk serious and sometimes fatal damage to the logic board. Be careful, try each of these angles and one will let you get it started coming off.
