I saw the tear down.... great example if you get a lot of ipods by that you repair... some have this part faulty other might have other faults... so you save what you can etc etc
but i miss a pdf version... the other step-by-step have them

You can find the iPod Touch 4th generation guides here.
Once you click on the guide itself just above the first picture is an option for a pdf version. I am not sure if the teardown itself has a pdf option but if you're using a Mac with a recent OS X to access the page you can try the print option and on the print window that opens there should be a pdf pulldown box with an option to "save as pdf." It won't be as clean a pdf as the other guides but it should work in a pinch.
Report back if this doesn't make sense or you have more questions.

Hi... the tear down does not have a pdf... also i do have a mac and tried to save as pdf... but it does not make the page breaks as nice as the other pdf's... actually i just thought of making another guide based on the teardown... but who makes the pdf? the system itself or the editors or do i have to make that one after i make the guide?
iFixit added the pdf option to the guides. For whatever reason it does not seem to exist for the teardown. You could try to use whatever guide requires the most disassembly. There are also pdf making tools available on the web but I wouldn't be able to recommend anything for a PC.
Your pdf files/documents can be fixed in case some crashing due to pdf repair and recovery download

stanmichaels, you seem to have misunderstood what was asked. The OP is looking for a specific PDF file from ifixit in regard to the teardown of an iPod.
