White or faint color after replacing a broken screen?

Why when I change a broken screen on an iPhone I get a white or faint color screen? Sometimes it has stripes and sometimes t does not. Is it something I'm doing wrong or is it poor quality parts.

hi bradrogers,

you should check the connectors any give them a clean. make sure there fitted properly and if so, yes it will be a fault (poor quality) screen
