My sister spilled tea over her keyboard for the is model but nothing was really done, i know they're are questions answered for this but is it still possible to save the computer after been sitting there too long? if so what might will need to be replaced

It's not working now, so you have nothing to loose, but much to gain. Use the advice/guide to open and inspect for damage. If there's heavy corrosion, or burn marks on the logic board it will need replacing. Only you know how much time and money you're willing to put into this project.
Start with a set of the proper tools... every job is easier with the proper tools.

Anything is possible! How much tea and how along ago did it happen and did you try to dry it out with any towels as quickly as possible? The less that entered the system the better. I hope she drinks her tea without sugar or milk as that makes cleaning up harder.

im not sure what type of tea it was it could of been green tea because she loves that stuff but ill open it up and see how its going i'll tell you if that worked. Thank you
