iPhone 8 Plus: charging and home buttons not working after screen replacement

hi, so i’ve recently replaced the screen on my iPhone 8 Plus, and now i’m facing the following problems with it:

it’s only charging wirelessly, tho the Lightning port is giving audio signals to the headphones.
the home button is not working, but Touch ID does.

what do you suppose is the problem?

also, it turns off by it seld when shaken or moved too much

iPhone 8 Plus: Sreen lights up but shows nothing

I transferred the logic board of my IPhone 8Plus and all of its components into a new housing, and after wards when rebooting the phone i found that the phone would still technically work as in you can still touch it to do things like answer calls buuut you could not see a thing its really just huge guessing game of what you’re pressing when the phone is on. I took the phone to best buy where the examined everything and told me the logic board was fine so they would attempt to replace the screen, sadly 10 minutes later the man returns to me with the news that the screen replacement didn’t change anything. what should i be looking for in terms of repair here? Another screen is obvious seeing as i more than likely damaged the other on in the transfer process but is there anything else i should look for to be sure it will work the way it is supposed to?

I was trying to fix the back glass of my iPhone 8 Plus when I poked the wireless coil going through the battery and There was a loud hiss than smoke started coming out the battery was connected and it just destroyed the screen it poked out the back glass I managed to get everything out after it cooled down now I just want to know is my logic board possibly still functional so I can just buy a new housing battery and screen and possibly put it back together I have attached pictures just because I don’t have another phone to try it with!

Hi. Replaced the screen on my iPhone 8 plus. Everything went well. The phone booted up fine initially however after a while it stopped booting. Now I simply see the apple logo and then it shuts off

iPhone 8 Plus: Front camera flex cable issue

While removing the flex cable with heat the cable separated (not broken) from the other part. It had a little bit of glue. Between both sides it has tiny pins that I guess are supposed to be in contact to work. Camera works but proximity sensor not aswell as the speaker. Please let me know if there is no way to put it back together or I'm better of getting a new flex. Thanks in advanced.

The housing swap went smoothly but now it’s stuck in a reboot loop. I’ve reseated all connectors. I’ve restored it in dfu mode and it came back. I swapped screens. Where should I look next?

iPhone 8 Plus: Vibration doesnt work accept home button

Vibration is only working in home button feedback but not in other cases like the system wide haptic feedback or vibration on ringtone.

i severely broke my phone & had to change the casing by placing my motherboard onto another iphone 8 plus casing which was icloud locked.

After that I’m facing 4 problems

Haptic feedback works only on home button (tried changing setting and restore iphone)

# No airpod prompt when I open the lid, cant connect it instantly, gets disconnected often

low wifi range
Most often only 2 bars in cellular network indicator.
can anyone suggest me a fix?

iPhone 8 Plus: Vibration rattles and lacks complex patterns after Taptic Engine swap.

My Taptic Engine was going out on my 8+ so I ordered another for when it actually finally kicked the bucket. Replaced it yesterday with no issues. After turning on my phone though, the vibration makes this really loud metallic-ish buzz that is very audible. In addition, I cannot use any of the custom vibration patterns that are normally allowed. When my phone rings, it buzzes only once at the very beginning.

Has as anyone experienced this? I want to take it out and fiddle with it but I installed a new seal as well and only bought one of those.

iPhone 8 Plus: iPhone will not charge or turn on

iPhone 8 plus is completely unresponsive, including when plugged in. Tried to charge when plugged into PC (iTunes will not recognize a phone is plugged in) and into wall with multiple ac adapters and cables. I've tried hard reset and dfu mode but nothing will make the phone respond. There's no water damage and the exterior is in very good condition. Any suggestions besides taking it to an Apple store?

iPhone 8 Plus: The touch on my phone works, but no display shown.

My phone got water damaged but the indicator for it has not turned red (SIM card slot area). The phone responds to touch, the Buttons all work however there isn't any haptic feedback. When the phone is on, the alarm goes off and I can turn it off by pressing the screen. The charging port also still works.

I have an iPhone 8 Plus and it won’t show a screen when I put a screen on it when it has no front camera. I’ve tested it with 2 LCD’s (they aren’t OEM) and I can feel the phone vibrating and everything it just won’t show a screen. I currently don’t have front camera. What do I do?

I sent my iPhone 8 for professional repair and the tech said he repaired the chip but now it needs reprogramming. He said he’s waiting for his reprogrammer to be returned from China.

Does this sound correct or is he pulling my leg? I’ve been waiting 2 months and apparently it still hasn’t arrived.

The phone works perfect except for wifi.

iPhone 8 Plus: iPhone 8 plus home button rapid firing after LCD replacement?

I recently did a screen repair on an iphone 8 plus. Everything was working fine, it was a routine screen replacement. The home button came out intact, but as I tested it out with the new screen the home button became extra sensitive. It rapid fires as I press it down it shows the recently used applications instead of using siri. Has anyone else had this problem before? Is there a fix for it or should I just send it in to apple for repair?

Hello I was trying to unscrew a screw near the logic board and my screw driver slipped and made a little rip and made a scratch under it can i just put heat resistant tape over it or do i just leave it thanks!

the iphones battery doesnt charge but turn on like it has some charge. i unplug the phone and the phone stays on for two seconds then shuts off. apparently the phone has internal water damage, so i am asking on what is wrong with the battery.

I want to learn how to take off the iPhone 8 back glass but not the full back housing. I attempted it in the pictures but I don’t want to have to do it so rough next time. Don’t worry it wasnt a full phone in there. It was just the housing for parts. Future tips and tricks would be very helpful!!! Thank you!

iPhone 8 Plus: Phone touchscreen works before pressing it into body

I replaced the phone screen on my iPhone 8 Plus and tested it before placing it into the body of the phone. The phone reacts to touch until it is clicked into the bottom of the phone then immediately looses response to any input.

Any suggestions?
