iPhone 7 Plus: My iPhone doesn’t record voice notes or call

Hi

My iPhone 7 plus fell on the ground yesterday while I was recording a video, after this the video started to give a buzz sound at first and then and it records videos but with no sound after that I’m not able to record any voice notes, or even call

I tried to use earphones but the phone doesn’t recognise it even a wireless one the phone recognised it but doesn’t record or call

Also so many things are messed up in the software and the phone is acting strange ex: sometimes doesn’t press on video record button, instagram bugs sometimes doesn’t save the story etc

I just need to know if it is a mic issue or a software issue

Is it possible that falling on the ground causes software issue ? And if its a mic issue why still not working with a wireless headphones

iPhone 7 Plus: Why is my back camera not working?

Hello there, a few days ago I came across an issue. I was on face time with my sister and my phone dropped from where it was sitting. Picked up the phone and didn't notice any damages until I hung up the phone. I noticed my flashlight is not working and neither is face time. Whenever I try to use the back camera, it shows a black screen. When I try to use alternatives like video call on snap chat and messenger, the part where the back camera starts to get burning hot, forcing my phone to shut down. The dual zoomed in back camera works fine for messenger but besides that, everything is a bust. I got this phone around September 2017, so I don't remember purchasing apple insurance. Is there a way to fix this? Can I replace the camera, or the phone all together without having to pay the full price? Is there a way I can check if I did purchase apple insurance? I need help PLEASE.

iPhone 7 Plus: Discount on Re-order for iPhone 7 Plus

Hello,

I am re-ordering iPhone 7 Plus LCD Screen and Digitizer Full Assembly / New / Part Only / White due to the back layer of the display assembly that provides the light that shines through the LCD ribbon ripped. although I was very careful when installing I believe the ribbon may have already had a tare when I received the part. After viewing the ribbon on your website compared to what I received the ribbon did not look the same. I assumed this is how the ribbon was suppose to look.

Does ifixit discount for a problem like this?

iPhone 7 Plus: Won't charge after screen replacement

So I broke my iPhone 7 Plus screen a while back and figured it be cheaper to replace it myself, plus I could swap everything into a red housing and get a new battery while I’m at it for the same cost of just the screen from the Apple store. The screen was an original Apple LCD that had the glass replaced, and the battery was aftermarket. I got all the parts and tested just the new screen at first and it worked perfect, so then I went ahead to swap everything into the new housing. I didn’t test charging at that point but I basically swapped everything into the new housing with the original battery and when I tried to power it up and it wouldn’t boot. I think I damaged the little battery connector when I was taking it out.

So then I put in the aftermarket battery and it booted perfectly, but whenever I’d plug it in to charge, it’d give me the “This accessory may not be supported” message. I was at iOS 10 at that point and knew about the lawsuit or whatever and updated to iOS 11 most recent and still didn’t fix it. So I got a used original battery with the Apple logo on it and tried that and STILL giving me the message, now with everything original Apple parts. So then I was thinking “hmm.. maybe I damaged the lightning cable connector when swapping it into the new case.” So I just got a new lightning cable connector but its not original Apple and will still charge for a split second then stop and say the “This accessory may not be supported” message.

I really just want my phone back, is there anyway I can still fix it myself? Is there some red flag that sets off whenever non-apple parts are put in and then you HAVE to bring it to the store?

iPhone 7 Plus: Is there a way to fix the missing “auto-brightness” option?

Is there anyway to bring back the missing “auto-brightness” option after replacing an iPhone 7 Plus screen?

I replaced my screen, with one from iFixit, and and while the screen, Touch ID, Camera etc work fine, I seem to now be missing the option to enable auto-brightness. This makes the phone very hard to adapt between indoor and outdoor lighting conditions without manually having to change it all day long. And leaving it at a higher brightness results in horrible battery life.

iPhone 7 Plus: Boot Looping after firmware upgrade

Hi

I have an iPhone 7 Plus which didn’t have any known physical issues up to now. The other night I installed the latest Apple software on my phone and then straight after the attempted software update (big mistake!) my iPhone went into a continuous boot loop where the Apple logo is constantly displayed.

i took the phone to the Apple Store Genius Bar and as I guessed they were just following a set script in terms of the useless help they try to give customers. they advised I either update the software or restore the phone which wipes all content.
