iPhone 7: iPhone 7 battery draining even on standby...any solution?

Hi,

My iPhone 7’s battery health is 83%, but a couple of weeks ago it started draining, like in a test, I restored it, pulled the sim, no iCloud id, no apps, just connected to Wi-Fi, charged to 42% and after about 8-10 hours it was dead. No activity. I have restored/updated multiple times.

After that I went to an Apple Authorized Center, they ran diagnosis, and told me battery tests passed and since its 83% they won’t replace, and told me its most probably some board/port issue. They offered me replacement at full price (around 420$, which doesn’t make sense to me).

I don’t know of any good repair shop in my area. Any idea what could be the issue? Or how should I proceed with this phone? It’s useable to some extent, or at least when I’m at home. Will continuing using it can cause serious damage etc?

iPhone 7: Reflow Audio Ic and CPU problem

Hi friends, I wanted an opinion, unfortunately iPhone 7 with audio chip problem there are really too many around, although I have a good success rate with a Reflow this time it went wrong. The phone does not turn on, I have an absorption of 0.4A from the cable but nothing appears on the display. Disassembled I noticed that the lines "PP_Soc_Var" "PP_CPU_Var" and "PP_GPU_Var" are all in short. So I think the processor is the problem ... I had used a high temperature tape to cover the rest of the logic board leaving only the Audio chip uncovered, with a temperature of 310C. I'm really baffled, I didn't think it could go so bad ...

Just to add on, <ins>it does not say anything like "touch id fail"</ins> and I can change the <ins>"home button haptic to 1 2 or 3" but not feeling any shake when I press the button</ins>. " Samething, my finger prints are there but sensor don’t read my finger print(login screen won’t get in).
I did a battery replacement to my iphone 7. I turn the device off prior and disconnect the battery prior to begin. What I did is unscrew the tapic engine and fold it halfway then remove the battery. <ins>I did not disconnect the screen or touch screen cable all in the whole process.</ins> The screen was intact the whole time. However after I put everything back together, t<ins>he screen works perfect but my home button is not working</ins>. ++++No tear or rips either.
iPhone 7: Why is Wi-Fi randomly graying out/ loosing signal?

Hello there,

recently bought second-hand iPhone 7 with beat up case and cracked screen.

It has been updated to iOs 13.5 with fresh reset, and when trying to connect to Wi-fi it shows routers, and can be connected, but after a few seconds it drops connection, and hides all routers. After re-enabling it, it shows again - can be connected for few seconds - and drops connections. So for a while, till ‘settings‘ app glitches out and wi-fi toggle becomes ‘grayed-out‘, cannot be enabled. BT toggle is switchable but cannot find devices/ connect. But never ‘grays-out‘. Priveous owner says before update it was okey (doubt that, but ok, may be).

I tried ‘airplane mode‘, restart, restart network settings, but nothing.

BUT - after making hard-reset, till it goes to ‘Hello‘ screen, wi-fi toggle comes back and connections can be made - but as mentioned above - few times drops out - glitch - ‘grayed out‘. And so on, on loop.

Before screen comes and i try to open it up - it may be antena what is acting up, software issue or it is not fully separated wifi chip (gray one) what everyone suggests to reball or fix pads?

If latter, i shall sell it, as I have not got equipment to do the job - but as I searched - for this toggle is always peramentaly ‘grayed out‘. So there may be hope.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.
