iPhone 7: Why is my iPhone 7 overheating?

Hi!

For some strange reason my iPhone began to heat up much more than usual. It never happened to It before. I realized couse I started to feel it writing on the screen. In adition to the fact that the battery is quite degraded (79%) it started to drain dramatically. It went from 78% of charge to 63% in no more than 5 minutes, only using WhatsApp and Twitter, to the point that it warmed so much that It scared me, and almost burned.

I tried shutting it down, closing all the opened apps, taking the case off and nothing.

Doing any type of no intensive use, causes It to starting heat up, specially the area of the right of the camera.

PD: I don’t know if It affects, but a few days ago I bought a Macbook Pro, and they are constantly connecting, and even I used it to make phone calls. Also, is hot here, but no so much (22ºC) compare to past days, when It can reach 36ºC, but nothing happen until now.

What would it be? Should I formatting it? Thanks you so much for the time! And I hope I don’t disgusting you with my english!

iPhone 7: Battery Drain and overheating while charging

My kid dropped my iPhone 7 from our 3rd story flat a couple of months back. There were a couple of barriers due to which it wasn’t a direct fall. Also, it fell into wet sand. Basically, there was no damage at the time. Nothing visible and the phone had been working fine for past 2 months

Last week, the battery drained pretty quick ( in about 4 hours). From that day onwards, no matter what I did, ( reinstall, DFU, fresh install with nothing installed on the phone), the phone discharges in 12/13 hours if left on standby (aeroplane mode, without a SIM or WIFI) and within 2-3 hours of light use.

I changed the battery, unfortunately that didn’t help. It still drains in 12-13 hours in standby and 3-4 hours while usage. I am not sure where to go from here, any help would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT

I switched off the phone last night before going to sleep. Battery at the time was 69%. When I woke up 7 hours later and turned the phone on, it had drained all the way down to 6% ( while it was turned off)

iPhone 7: iPhone 7 WiFi grayed out

Hi guys, I have an iPhone 7 here, WiFi grayed out. Upon testing, I confirm the WiFi chip has problem and needs to be reballed. What I am not sure is the NAND chip. I know WiFi IC is bound to the NAND, so if the WiFi chip is to be replaced with a new one, then NAND must be removed and reprogrammed to unbind the the Mac address. However, I am not going to replace the WiFi chip with a new one, I just want to reball it. In such case, do I still need to remove the NAND chip and reprogram it? I checked on youtube, some repairers just reballed the WiFi chip and didn’t touch the NAND, however, some reballed both of them even they didn’t change the WiFi chip. So I am a bit confused. Do I need to remove/reprogram the NAND even I don’t replace the WiFi chip?

iPhone 7: Why do I have white lines appear as I charge my phone?

I purchased an ifixit screen and am very impressed with the quality of everything, but after inserting the screen I've noticed that the touch is not very responsive. It is usable but if I swipe, then the screen kind of lags behind. I am also getting white vertical lines that appear after I charge my phone for a few minutes. Screen still works enough, but the lines become increasingly noticeable the longer I charge the phone. Thank you so much in advance.

Sorry for the bad pictures but my phone camera lens have been broken for about a year and after not being able to find a place that would actually attempt to fix it, I’m considering trying to fix it myself, but I don’t know how to go about doing it. I’ve seen a video on replacing the glass cover but even if i did that i think the smudges would still be there, so I’d have to clean the camera and that would be difficult. Would it be easier to replace the entire back seeing that i might have to open up the phone anyways in order to clean the camera, or is the camera itself beyond cleaning/repair? Would appreciate the help.
