iPad Pro 12.9" 5th Gen: Comparsa riga nera verticale sullo schermo

Grazie.

iPad Pro 9.7": Lcd o metà bianco o tutto blu scuro

Buonasera a tutti.

Grazie a tutti.

iPad Pro 12.9": My iPad is stuck in recovery mode

I got it secondhand, it isn’t damaged at all but apparently it was left uncharged for a little while and now it has the recovery mode screen. I’ve tried initiating recovery and I can only get past this screen like 1 in 5 tries, but even when I get past it and it says it’s in the process of recovering it, the progress bar fills less than a tenth of the way and won’t go further even if left for hours.

is it totally bricked? Would it even be worth the trouble of taking it to a repair shop or would that be just as expensive as getting another refurbished one?

EDIT: I’ve tried flashing it with 3utools, and I’ve tried directly downloading the IOS to recover it in Itunes, but both end up getting stuck eventually. Recovery gets stuck at 90% and flashing gets to about 20, when it starts unmounting the filesystem, but it’ll stay this way for hours. It also doesn’t seem to want to stay in DFU mode long enough to recover anything, it boots out of it and then tries to recover normally which it can’t

iPad Pro 12.9" 4th Gen: iPad not charging properly: battery or other IC broken?

My iPad is not charging (properly) anymore and I am trying to figure out (before opening the device) if a battery replacement will likely solve the issue or if there's a high chance that some other internal IC is toast. I know this is a bit speculative but I'm interested if the error symptoms give any indication at all.

Current condition: When I plug in the USB cable, the screen stays black or shows the empty battery symbol (sometimes with/sometimes without the cable icon). After a while it tries to boot, and often gets to the lockscreen. Then it freezes and shuts down.

Troubleshooting attempts:

different power adaptors (both USB-C and USB-A output)

different cables

charging via smart connector (magic keyboard with power passthrough; after it reached the lockscreen I could see "not charging" for a brief moment)

cleaning USB-C port using isopropyl alcohol

let it connected to power for a few hours and try to turn on again (doesn't collect charge since it automatically tries to power on every few minutes)

Observations:

I only have a lousy USB-C cable for power readings. It would often show ~2W for a while. When the iPad then tries to boot, it drops to 0W.

A few weeks before, it became finicky to charge the iPad. I thought I had a loose contact because certain cables and positions would still work. I cleaned the port using isopropyl alcohol and it seemed to have solved the issue for a few weeks - until now. But somehow I don't believe the port is the culprit anymore because the smart connector has the same behavior.

battery seemed a bit weak for the last year or so (but the device is also 6 years old): sometimes I'd leave the iPad for a day or two and it would run out of battery.

Happy to provide additional information if that helps to narrow it down.

My iPad Pro 10.5" is not turning on and the screen remains completely black. It occasionally turns on briefly, but when it does, it refuses to charge. I have already tried a force restart, cleaned the charging port of any debris, and tested multiple known-working MFi cables and high-wattage power adapters, but nothing has worked.
iPad Pro 11" 4th Gen: Battery Replacement and Adhesive Strips

After four long years of use the battery on my iPad Pro is lasting less and less time. I am thinking about replacing the battery. Looking at the repair manual for the third generation which uses the same battery I have two questions. Can I use the same manual? or should I use the screen replacement manual for the appropriate parts on the actual manual, that is, generation 4 and substitute the third for what is appropriate? My main question is replacing the Adhesive strips for mine. It is not even mentioned in the third manual and they are $170 for my model. Why are these so expensive. Are they needed for battery replacement? I want to do an excellent job, but that price is way out of line compared to other models. What's up? Thanks for the help.

iPad Pro 12.9": Touch screen not working on iPad Pro 12.9” (1st gen)

So my brother and I were changing a cracked screen on the iPad Pro last night and everything was going smooth. We were following the steps and when we plugged ribbon cables in we forgot to put the plastic tool in separating the battery.

There was a tiny tiny spark and so we figured the worst which was correct. We assembled everything back together and behold the touch screen didn’t work. The iPad powers up and the screen will turn on but you can’t do anything.

My question is, is there a component that I can purchase to replace whatever we fried to get the touch screen working or did we just ruin this iPad beyond repair.

I purchased it from a friend for 150 dollars because it had a cracked screen. The I purchased the new screen for 200 dollars. So I’m 350 dollars invested. Just trying to figure if it’s salvagable or I’m out on my money.
