ZCWA BR151: BR151 Stuck in Docking Loop

When you turn the unit on, and tell it to go home, it will find the base and align with it, center up, go up the ramp, then bump against the back wall of the charging base to only turn around and do it all over again. I have noticed that just as it contacts the back wall of the charging base, the plug light on top of the unit will go from green to red for just a second, then back to green. It will do this dance indefinitely. I wondered if the battery could be bad, but they ain't cheap and I don't want to buy a new one without knowing if this will solve the problem. Contacts were cleaned. Censors cleaned. Battery was pulled from unit for 30+ minutes. Anybody solved this problem?

Edited to add: I checked the voltage on the docking station and it is getting voltage. The feet on the docking station are springy so they are not stuck. Everything has been cleaned with rubbing alcohol.

ZCWA BR151: robot shut off after a few seconds

Why does the vacuum stop after a few seconds. The light turns green to red. It is always on the charging station when not in use. I have been using this for 2 years and absolutely love it. The washing? Not so much.
