Ryobi Cordless String Trimmer P2009 2019: What could make a string trimmer motor suddenly stop working?

Trimmer is 3-4 years old, lightly used. It was working normally for several minutes and suddenly stopped. Had run into some vines, but none were wrapped around the head after stopping. Fully charged battery, not overheating. When trigger was pressed the motor slight "bumped"--did this several times, but then no more reaction from trigger.

Took apart--thoroughly cleaned the contacts on unit and batteries. I see no issues with wiring anywhere. The motor turns freely (with slight bumps every quarter inch, which I assume is normal. Don't know how to test if motor is issue, or trigger component or circuit board.
Replacement motor (could only find one, $108--too much to put into an older Ryobi) and don't know that this is the issue.

What could make a small motor like this suddenly stop working? Is there any way to take it apart and repair something inside the motor?

It over heats and thin it lose power it works great at first thin it gets hot way to fast and slowly stops working and afterwards u can hear a hissing /boiling nose coming from the carburetor

Weed Whacker: Why does my Echo SRM-225 gas trimmer stall or bog down?

My ECHO SRM-225 starts on cold setting but dies out soon after, sometimes one to three minutes, sometimes just a few seconds. Throttling always makes it bog down and stop. I recently replaced fuel line and filter (Echo 90097 kit) and still, no better. I have been using TRuFuel 50:1 with no problems for months until now. I checked the plug, not dirty at all. I just checked the spark arrestor screen, and it was clean. The one thing I do notice is an accumulation of grease/oil near the exhaust.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I added trimmer string to my RYOBI line trimmer after it ran out and when I was winding it up I winded it up to far that the line went all the way in and now it won't come out and it is jammed. I tried to remove the Reel Easy+ head but it won't budge.
