I'm repairing a Behringer U-Phoria UMC404HD. There was a tiny component that received both the signals of USB data(+) and data(-), before allowing both to proceed towards the XMOS chip. Please take a look at the image above to check out how the component (with arrows pointing at it) and the surrounding area looks in an undamaged UMC404HD.

There has been an attempt, by the former owner, to repair the USB connections, which left this particular component destroyed.

Could someone tell me what is this component and, if possible, the specs it might have, so I can order a suitable replacement?

I don't have much knowledge in parts names and uses, but I can do a good job, when it comes to repairing circuit boards.

It used to work fine but now when I plug the interface the mic works for a little then immediately goes extremely low. It sometimes comes back when I leave it for a while but it goes off when I start using it again. Another way I got it to start working is if I put it in front of a standing fan (as in a lot of wind blows on it). But immediately I move it away, it cuts again.

It does not record or output any sound, even though the indicators are lit.
Audio interface Focusrite Scarlett Solo It connects to the computer and the lights come on, but it produces no sound output or input whatsoever. The signal indicator...(Gain Halo)It does not respond at all when speaking into the microphone. It has been tested on several different computers, using various cables and ports.USB it is different, and the same problem persists.
