Tiger Furby 1998: 1998 Furby Motor / Gears Seizing (?) after jump, anybody know a fix?

Hey! I recently purchased a NIB 1998 Snow Leopard Furby (WT code), which did not work out of the box. I anticipated a relatively simple jumpstart (the typical methods of whacking the battery compartment or skinning it & spinning the black horizontal gear with a screwdriver, if the first thing didn't work). While spinning the gear did eventually wake it up, it seems like something's causing either the gears or the motor to get stuck at random, particularly when it's flipped upside down. I dabbed a very small amount of 3-in-1 all-temp silicone lubricant (which shouldn't damage the plastic) on the teeth of the gears (not the shafts, since one of the very few sources I could find said not to do this) with a cotton swab, and that didn't seem to have an effect on the seizing (though I'm not sure if I used enough). I noticed when I was initially spinning the gear, it would catch and become hard to spin for a moment, then return to normal once slightly adjusted. Could the issue be that one of the gears is defective, is the motor the problem, or could it be something like a corroded wire / some other kind of disconnect? I know these guys are prone to motor issues, especially after being dormant for as long as this one, but to me it sounds like that's working fine (everything else functions as intended when it's not frozen). I took care not to deform or otherwise damage the gear, so I don't think that could have caused it. I couldn't find this issue talked about anywhere, and I'm not very familiar with Furbys or small hardware as a whole, so I figured I'd give iFixit a shot. Any advice is appreciated! :]

Here's a video with an example of the sound it makes when it gets stuck:

I don't let it do this for longer than about 20 seconds at a time, for fear of it overheating; nothing stops it except for removing the batteries.

Fisher Price Laugh and Learn Around the Town: How to fix broken farm mechanism?

So on my fp activity table the farm is broken, I've tried fixing it 2 times with no luck.. the actual mechanism itself its bugged or getting stuck, when I lift the flap up it clicks. (It's not meant to do that) and the bottom row gets stuck and doesn't move at all. The middle row moves just a tiny bit. And the top row none. I feel like a kid just smashed into this table with their hand and thats why it doesn't work? When i put the flaps down it clicks about 2 times again. Sometimes it doesn't go all the way down and the flap just stays up? Please help me with this!! (BTW for reference its meant to show a different animal each time you lift and tmflap and put it down because it changes the picture when you put the flap down and when you lift it up it shows a different animal and plays an audio clip)

Tickle Me Elmo: Why is my Original 1996 Tyco Tickle Me Elmo Stuck in Try me mode?

I got a Original 1996 Tyco Tickle Me Elmo from a thrift store and when I got it, it was stuck in its try me mode where it would only do its demo laugh without the normal play of 4-5 tickle me sequences and he doesn’t have a plastic tab inserted in him at all. I also opened him up to see if there was some kind of switch or something that would make him register that he’s either in try me mode or normal play mode but had no luck.

Is there any way to get it out of try me mode for one that doesn’t have the plastic tab inserted and would this either be something to do with a specific wire connection and/or a board problem? Please advise soon if anyone knows or has had a Tyco Tickle Me Elmo with this issue of being stuck in try me mode without a plastic tab. Hopefully this is fixable.

Thank you! 😊

Hasbro furby 2012: Why does my furby turn off a couple seconds after being on?

My friend gifted me her old furby, a 2012 voodoo purple one and once I opened the battery compartment it still had batteries and corrosion was everywhere. I cleaned as much as I could with a q tip and some vinegar and later did it again with alcohol. I put batteries in it and it turned on, spoke but did not react to tingling, petting and it did not move, it only talked for a bit before shutting down again and turning back on. I've searched everywhere to see what I can do but I cannot find this problem anywhere else. I opened the furby up, what should I do now?

Hasbro Iron Man Infinity Nano Gauntlet: Hasbro Nano Gauntlet "snap" motion not triggering lights or sound

I am trying to fix the "snap" feature on my Hasbro Marvel Legends Nano Gauntlet. The Infinity Stones still light up and make individual sounds when pressed, and I have installed fresh batteries, so the speaker and main board seem fine. However, the "snap" motion no longer triggers the lights or sound effects.

It seems like the internal mechanical trigger or sensor that detects the finger snap motion is either misaligned or broken. Has anyone successfully opened the palm or finger assembly to realign or repair this specific snap switch? Any advice on what to look for once the gauntlet is open would be greatly appreciated.
