Scrivo in questo forum di domande sulla riparazione perché ho scoperto che la causa del non funzionamento dello schermo della mia PSP GO non è dovuto allo schermo in sé ma bensì al fatto che non si illumina, se lo illumino con una torcia si vede un minimo ad esempio.

Volevo quindi chiedervi se qualcuno saprebbe indicarmi una guida o qualche istruzione su come potrei riparare / sostituire questo fusibile o su come sopperire alla mancanza di illuminazione dello schermo con una esterna che lo illumini come se lo fosse di fabbrica (?)

Qualche mese fa ordinai dei pezzi (schermo e flex cable) e li sostituii personalmente quando arrivarono(qualche giorno fa) alla PSP go in questione.

Risultato? Se illumino lo schermo con una torcia si riescono a scorgere con difficoltà le immagini, però questo significa che schermo e flex cable funzionano ora perlomeno.

Come potrei risolvere il problema della retroilluminazione e poter tornare a visualizzare videogiochi nella mia PSP go?

For starters, the Power Button wouldn't work if the thing was shut off, meaning that I had to use the PlayStation button to power it on. And then I learned that my inputs for the Power Button were also extremely delayed. Like, I'd press and hold the Power Button to turn the PS Vita on, with the effects of that only occurring at a later date, where it would bring up the 'Shut Down' menu.

What can I do? I sprayed some compressed air into both buttons just in hopes that it was merely some gunk messing with the inner components, but I have my doubts.

(I hope I phrased this as best as I could.)

1. 1. I measured if the charger was inputing the right voltage to the device and it does. It receives 5V
2. 2. I checked the power fuse, it is not blown out
3. 3. I changed the flex cable that connect the power switch board to the main board. It didn't changed anything

Some note is that if I press the connector where the flex cable of the power switch board connect to, the LED faintly turns on and I was suspecting the flex cable was faulty but maybe I was just shorting some pins. (When I opened up to check if something was wrong, this flex cable was disconnected from the power switch board)

I don't know if it has a similar behavior as with the DS that if a flex cable is not connected properly it won't boot or if using a new battery will help aswell (I doubt it as when the charger is connected it doesn't do anything)

If someone can help me troubleshoot it will be appreciated, I really want to bring it back to life as it gives me a lot of nostalgia.

When the left button ribbon cable is disconnected, the analog stick works perfectly. As soon as I connect the ribbon cable and lock the ZIF connector, the D-pad works normally, but the analog stick stops controlling movement. For example, in GTA the camera still rotates, but the character won’t walk.

I’ve already:

• reseated all ribbon cables multiple times;
• cleaned the analog stick, the ribbon cables and motherboard connectors with isopropyl alcohol;
• inspected the ribbon cable and connectors for visible damage.

The analog stick works every time the left button ribbon is disconnected, which is why I’m confused.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Case closed, the screen might be a cause, but I think the real culprit is most likely defects of motherboard. I probably didn't store the PSP properly and the the motherboard probably got a bit oxidized at somewhere that we don't want it to happen. Anyway I'm off for a second hand one and put my old friend on a display shelve.

I ordered a replacement conductive film and reinstalled it, but using a control testing tool, I noticed that the R2 button was having phantom presses (it would press and release randomly).

So, I bought a new conductive film, thinking it was broken. I installed it, but I'm having the exact same problem. This time, the problem is with the Triangle and Circle buttons...

I checked the flat cable, and it's perfectly inserted and straight. Has anyone had a similar problem with their PSP? I don't know how to fix it.

I purchased this model, which is specified for 3000 models. It's the second one I've purchased, and I've changed suppliers.

The problem specifically occurs when I glue the film onto the console. Before gluing it, I connected both flat cables, and everything works fine. Once glued, the problems begin...

The film is perfectly centered (it follows the plastic pins for positioning).
