Grazie in anticipo.

Sony Xperia Z5: Cameras and the Flash Don't Work

I've been facing this issue for months now, Whenever I tap camera app or any other third party camera app like snapchat, candycamera or camera in the whatsapp or facebook or instagram, the system hangs for 5-10 seconds and the respective app crashes and there's no cameras and no flash. When I ran the system diagnostics using *#*#7378423#*#* the rear camera diagnostic also gave the same black screen and gave a message that the camera not connected whereas the flash test said that the flash should be on whereas it wasn't and finally the front camera diagnostic crashed the system diagnostic tool completely. Now any advises on which camera should I get replaced?

SONY Xperia XZ3: Temperature of reflowing the WiFi chip

I bought a secondhand Sony xz3 (Japanese model SOV39) and immediately after charging it up it began to lag and restart itself. The WiFi wouldn’t turn on and the SIM card didn’t work. I did a software reset and somehow it fixed itself. So I happily used it for a couple of days but after about 8 days it started to freeze then restart itself and refuse to turn on WiFi, and a software reset and common methods like turning on airplane mode didn’t stop it from rebooting. Bluetooth is fully functional, resetting network would result in a reboot, and rebooting in safe mode didn’t help.

After some research I now suspect that the WiFi IC has failed/desoldered itself, and is now planning to reflow or replace it if I have to. However, I don’t have a lot of experience with microsoldering and last time I attempted a similar repair I ended up cooking my hand and tearing half of the solder pads off.

Can anyone recommend a temperature I should set my hot air station to? Thanks in advance

Sony Xperia C: Sony Xperia C4 Dual won't power on after 2 years of storage – no respo

My Sony Xperia C4 Dual was working fine but I bought a new phone and left this one unused and uncharged for approximately two years. It was stored in a normal room temperature environment without any physical damage or water exposure. When I tried to use it again recently:I plugged in the original charger but the phone showed no response at all (no lights, no vibration, nothing).

I took it to a phone repair shop. The technician replaced the battery with a new, fully charged one.

The phone showed a green charging indicator light, so it appears to be receiving power.

However, when pressing the power button (or any button combination), the phone still does not turn on – there is absolutely no reaction, no logo, no vibration, nothing on the screen.

The repair technician suspects the problem might be with the motherboard (main board), but I would like a second opinion before proceeding with an expensive repair.Additional details:Model: Sony Xperia C4 Dual (E5333 / E5343 – dual SIM version)

The phone was not dropped, wet, or exposed to extreme heat/cold during storage.

No visible corrosion or damage inside when the battery was replaced.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue with an Xperia C4 (or similar Sony Xperia models) after long-term storage? Could it be a simple fix like a faulty power button, corrupted firmware, or a deeper motherboard issue? Any troubleshooting steps or repair guides would be greatly appreciated!
