Ho questo vecchio modello di MacBook Bianco inizio 2008, che non uso da tempo. Volevo chiedere se fosse possibile togliere il lettore DVD è inserire un adattatore con all’interno una SSD in modo da usarlo come secondo disco dove installare Linux e mantenere poi entrambi i sistemi.

Ho notato però che il lettore non ha un aggancio sata ma pata?

Qualch’uno lo ha già fatto?

Un 13" mid 2010 (A1278) e un macbook 17" del 2009 (A1297)

Il 13 pollici parte ma rimane lo schermo spento(credo sia la scheda video, quindi è da buttare)

Il Macbook 17 pollici aveva un componente bruciato NDS9407, prontamente sostituito, ma appena gli abbiamo dato corrente si è bruciato dinuovo facendo fumo ecc.

Qualcuno saprebbe come potrei sistemare il questo macbook? Ho bisogno di un macbook per studiare/lavorare dato che non ho nemmeno un PC, oppure se qualcuno ne ha uno che non usa più e vorrebbe cedermelo sarei felice di prenderlo io :)

Ho svitato le viti sotto guscio ma nella parte vicino all’apertura non si apre. Fa resistenza.

Ho questo Macbook Pro Unibody Late 2011 che non riconosce più alcun disco. Ho letto che potrebbe essere il cavo flat in oggetto, ma prima di comprarne uno nuovo mi sarebbe piaciuto controllare se ci sono eventuali interruzioni nei circuiti.

I due connettori alle estremità hanno entrambi 22 contatti, tuttavia da un mio test mi sembra che molti di essi non siano connessi.

Qualcuno sa se esiste uno schema elettrico per capire quanti di questi sono realmente connessi?

le prime due immagini raffigurano il pc in che stato è e in che modo è collegato ad un monitor esterno..la terza foto è il difetto che ho trovato sul cavo LVDS. se noti bene nella parte sinistra del connettore manca quella plastica sotto i vari dentini..era quello che mancava all’inizio..il resto dei difetti che vedi sono dovuti a un seguito non troppo gioioso per il cavo ahah. il pc l’ho comprato usato un paio di mesi fa quindi non so che tipo di problema possa aver avuto in passato..l’unica cosa che posso dire è che quando spegnevo il pc su sfondo nero con la rotella che gira mentre si sta spegnendo esattamente al centro del display si vedeva una specie di alone bianco circolare. per il resto non so altro. ho cambiato la ram portandola da 2 a 8 GB e la ma intenzione era (se tutto avesse continuato a funzionare a dovere) di cambiare l’hdd con un ssd

Vorrei installare il sistema operativo 10.12 Sierra in modo da avere la compatibilità con l'ultima versione di pages perché la suite iWork 09 è troppo vecchia e incompatibile con la nuova versione e ho letto come forzare l'installazione del sistema operativo seppur con la totale incompatibilità della scheda di rete wireless della Broadcom BCM43xx.

Vorrei quindi chiedere se è possibile sostituire la scheda esistente con la versione BCM94321MC in modo da risolvere il problema della compatibilità con Sierra.

Non ho problemi per la sostituzione, ma soltanto capire se funzionerebbe oppure no.

Once installed no longer light. What can be problem?

This MacBook originally belonged to my uncle. He upgraded some components, then years later gave it to my grandmother. It stayed unused for about 4–5 years. I turned it on once after that and it worked perfectly, but I stopped using it because it had an admin password that no one knew. I was younger at the time and didn’t know what to do.

Now, about 6–7 years later, I tried turning it on again. After charging it for a long time (the MagSafe light stays green), it powers on but then shuts off abruptly during startup. After it turns off, I have to wait several minutes before it responds to the power button again.

Here’s what’s happening precisely:

Power / Boot Issue

• The Mac turns on normally, shows the Apple logo and the throbber.
• It shuts down before completing the boot process.
• The shutdown is abrupt, like the power is suddenly cut.
• After it turns off, it doesn’t respond to the power button right away — I have to wait a few minutes before it will turn on again.

Fan / Internal Noise

• I hear clicking or buzzing sounds that seem to come from the fan or possibly the hard drive area.
• The fan appears to spin.

Magsafe

• The green light takes about 5–8 seconds to turn on after connecting.
• Once it turned orange for 4 seconds, then switched back to green. Probably is poor contact.
• The MagSafe port has been cleaned, but the behavior remains the same.

Battery

• With the battery disconnected, the Mac does not power on using only the MagSafe adapter.

Other Details

• No burning smell or unusual odor (just a normal old plastic smell near the keyboard/screen area).
• The screen lights up normally during the partial startup.
• Startup chime is present.
• The Mac is always cold and has never overheated.
• Internal components do not show signs of corrosion, moisture, or staining.

I’m especially worried because the hard drive contains important family memories that I would really like to recover. I know the hard drive could be accessed with an adapter using another computer, but I’m 15, in Brasil (Things here are expensive), so I was hoping to repair this Mac myself and change to linux so I could also use it for studying.

I would really appreciate any help or advice.

So, could the MagSafe be solely to blame for all this? A few weeks ago I discovered that MagSafe is the 40W version, not the 60W one, and it isn't an Apple original. My grandmother bought it thinking the Macbook was a Macbook Air.
